• In the village of La Bastide-Puylaurent, you will find a pharmacy, a bazaar, a bakery, a grocery, a butcher, a garage and a post office. There is no Automatic Teller Machine (ATM). The mobile phone works in some parts of the village.
• The Abbey Notre Dame des Neiges is located 3km from L'Etoile (Ardeche side). You can walk along the GR72 and the GR7 which are common on this trail.
• The Thermal Spa of Saint Laurent les Bains in Ardeche (Chaine thermale du Soleil) is located 8km east (possible treatment for the half-day or week).
